2. The Competition

2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website (the “Website”).
2.2 Competitions may involve a skill-based question or problem. A free postal entry route is always available.
2.3 Minimum entries per competition is 1. The draw will proceed regardless of the number of entries received.
2.4 The Promoter may offer different competition formats, including draw-based and instant win competitions.


3. How to Enter

3.1 Competitions will run from the Opening Date to the Closing Date as specified on the Website. All times and dates are in London, England.
3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening and/or Closing Dates up to a maximum of four times, if necessary for operational reasons. All changes will be displayed on the Website and entrants will be notified by email.
3.3 All competition entries must be received within the published times. Entries received outside these times may be disqualified without a refund.
3.4 Entry can be made via:

  • Online Entry Route: Follow the process outlined on the Website, including selecting a competition, answering the question (if applicable), completing payment, and receiving ticket confirmation.

  • Postal Entry Route: Free entries must include the entrant’s full name, address, contact number, email, chosen competition, and (if applicable) their answer to the competition question. Each postal entry must be sent separately to:
    CompyComps Ltd, 54 Beech Drive, Broadstairs, Kent, CT10 2LL.

3.5 Postal entries received within 72 hours after the Closing Date will be credited with an equivalent entry value for use in a future competition.
3.6 Entrants must have a registered account on the Website for their free entry to be processed.


4. Choosing a Winner

4.1 Draw-Based Competitions: All valid entrants will be entered into a verifiably random draw to determine the winner.
4.2 Instant Win Competitions: Winning tickets are pre-selected using a randomised process prior to competition launch.
4.3 If a draw is disrupted or inconclusive, the Promoter may rerun it using the same or an alternative random method.


5. Eligibility

5.1 The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, except:

  • Employees of the Promoter.

  • Employees of agents or suppliers professionally connected with the competition.

  • Immediate family members or households of those listed above.

5.2 Proof of eligibility may be required. Failure to provide proof may result in disqualification.
5.3 Fraudulent, automated, or bulk entries will be disqualified.
5.4 Entrants must act in good faith; abusive or fraudulent behaviour will result in disqualification.
5.5 Refunds will only be provided in accordance with Section 11 (Early Conclusion of Competitions and Refunds).
5.6 Only one account per household is allowed.


6. The Prize

6.1 Each competition’s prize (the “Prize”) is described on the relevant competition page.
6.2 The prize will remain the same throughout the competition and cannot be changed mid-term.
6.3 Non-cash prizes may be subject to additional terms stated on the Website.
6.4 All prizes are in the possession of the Promoter and will be provided by them directly.
6.5 Prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable.
6.6 All other costs not included within the prize description are the winner’s responsibility.


7. Winners

7.1 The decision of the Promoter is final.
7.2 The winner’s full name will be announced during the live draw (for draw-based competitions).
7.3 Winners will be contacted using the details provided during entry.
7.4 If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 21 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
7.5 Winner names and counties may be published on the Website unless an objection is raised.
7.6 If you object to publication, you must notify the Promoter before the Closing Date. The Promoter must still provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.


8. Claiming the Prize

8.1 Prizes must be claimed personally. Third-party claims are not permitted.
8.2 It is the entrant’s responsibility to keep contact details updated.
8.3 Cash prizes will be transferred directly to the winner’s nominated UK bank account.
8.4 The Promoter is not responsible if the winner cannot take up the prize for any reason.


9. Limitation of Liability

The Promoter is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s breach or negligence. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable or that arises from your own conduct.


10. Data Protection and Publicity

10.1 By entering a competition, you agree that any personal data provided may be held and used by the Promoter or its agents for competition administration, prize fulfilment, and future updates.
10.2 Submitted content may be used for reasonable publicity. If you wish to opt out of publicity, you must notify the Promoter in writing.
10.3 Opting out of communication or publicity may affect your ability to claim a prize but does not entitle you to a refund beyond the provisions of these terms.


11. Early Conclusion of Competitions and Refunds

11.1 In exceptional circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to conclude any competition early for operational, administrative, or service quality reasons.
11.2 In such cases:

  • No prizes will be awarded for concluded competitions.

  • All paid entries will be refunded in full using the original payment method.

  • Entrants will be notified in writing of the early conclusion and refund process.

  • This is a one-off measure and will not be applied routinely.

  • Future competitions will proceed with guaranteed draws and prizes as described on the Website.


12. General

12.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on the Website.
12.2 The Promoter may disqualify any entrant found to be in breach of these Terms.
12.3 Competitions are not affiliated with Meta, Apple, or Google.
12.4 These Terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12.5 Entrants should print or save a copy of these Terms for their records.

By entering any competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
